Moving from a calm rural life to a fast-paced city like Kochi with a 4-month-old was overwhelming. The new environment, humidity swings, and reduced greenery slowly started affecting our routine—especially our kid’s health. Frequent respiratory issues became a constant worry, and our recent doctor visit only added to the frustration.

After speaking with elders and people who had similar experiences, we realised the city’s dry indoor air and lack of natural moisture were likely making things worse. Since we couldn’t change the weather, we looked for ways to improve our indoor atmosphere.

That’s when we came across the idea of using a humidifier. We didn’t overthink—just bought one immediately. The difference was surprising. At first, we thought we all caught a cold, but soon understood that our noses had been extremely dry. Once the humidifier added gentle moisture to the room, breathing became easier, and our kid started sleeping much better.
